We are inviting you to participate in Got Green’s exciting new project:
“Women in the Green Economy “
Project Launch: Saturday, January 29th, 201110:00-11:30 AM: ReceptionThe Lee House at New Holly7315 39th Ave S, Seattle 98118

Please join us as we launch this exciting project to learn from women in Southeast Seattle what they need and want from the “green movement” for themselves and their families.
Got Green works to ensure low income communities of color can fully participate in and benefit from this new green economy.
Our Women in the Green Economy Project will put low income women’s voices front and center in the debates and discussions about what the green economy promises and how to make it deliver for our communities. The Project will also broaden Got Green’s issues to include a wider range of green jobs; access to healthy and fresh food; energy savings and environmental health in our homes; and better public transportation options.
Can you help us survey SE Seattle Women about their needs and priorities for
the Green Economy?
Survey collection at community sites: 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM{following the reception}
For questions or to RSVP call or email Project Organizer Tammy Nguyen:(206)290-5136 ~ tammy@gotgreen.org
This project is funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award of the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
