What We Are Fighting For
Meaningful Work: Work that is good for workers, communities, and the planet. This can include jobs with just wages, robust benefits, and workplace democracy with unions for all. This includes dignity for all (unpaid) work that we do to care for ourselves, our families, and each other.
Healthy Housing: Housing that is rooted, stable, and healthy – a housing system free from unsafe living conditions, debt, displacement, and homelessness. Housing that is treated as home and sanctuary - not an instrument of profit. Housing that nourishes people and the planet. Housing that centers the well-being and power of tenants, not the pockets of landlords and real estate vultures.

Nourishing Food: Food that nourishes our health, is empowering for all food workers, and nourishes the planet. This means an end to a corporate-based food system that leads to food deserts, food insecurity, the exploitation of farm, factory and grocery workers, and large-scale pollution (via food production & transport).
Deep Care: We deserve investment in care and compassion, not pollution, policing, and war. Care for people and the planet means vital care sectors – education, childcare, elder care, healthcare, and much more. Green jobs, healthy housing, and nourishing food further care for people and the planet.
